most exciting hike yet

In drier times, the stream bed partially dries up with just a trickle of water. Note the ridges in the rock wall in the background, each representing a separate era of rock formation.

Comments: I have only just started hiking. But this was a great hike with great views and diverse geology. I hiked the 7 mile loop highlighted in the hiking texas book.
