Comments:
A surprising amount of solitude and beauty. Went on a rather hot day but hiked mostly in the shade after the first third of a mile in a meadow. Spotted a lizard, some fishermen and kids in the creek. But was alone the rest of the time. No paved trails, making it a nice little jaunt into the woods. They say this is the only location in the world where eight different species of oak live together. Drop down into the streambed for a much more interesting experience with cliffs and clear-running water.
