A very pleasant hike today! Did a big loop on the west side of the South Shore and then returned on the east trails.
Not much wildlife although we saw a couple of white tail deer and a few birds. What is surprising to me is the fact some of the bee brush is blooming once again, just in time for the monarchs as the fly south for the winter. Saw more than one type of butterfly enjoying the sweet smelling nectar and pollen.
