Park Mid-Section Burkett Park to Cougar Overlook

Park Longhorn
The longhorns are in the park midsection along the trails. Be aware of them and leave them alone. They won't bother you if you don't bother them!

Two years ago today, I made my first log entry!!

Temps in the mid 40's to start and upper 50's at end.  Sunny and windy.

Trails were damp which surprised me; we've have no real rain for awhile.  Very pleasant otherwise, no animals but quite a few birds.  The park's longhorns were near the Armadillo Ridge area and on the trails but they left me alone.  All in all, a nice day to hike !
