Partially flooded

Boardwalk
Given the muddy trails we experienced elsewhere, the dry boardwalk here provided for a pleasant stroll.

Comments:

Coppertone and I rode horses along the trails here at MacKerricher earlier in the day.  Since we were right across the street we decided to stop by for some walking as well.

The road leading to the coast was closed because of flooding, but they were allowing visitors to park near the park entrance and hike along the road from there so we gave it a shot.  The parking area adjacent to small lake was flooded badly, but the road leading further to the shore was just starting to dry out and we could cross without any difficulty.

We walked the boardwalk leading out to the Pacific and did not have to deal with too many other people.  From the point we looked out to sea and spotted several waterspouts from whales migrating south for mating season.
