Temps in the low 50's, sunny with wispy clouds, steady North wind.

A month or so ago, controlled fires burned some of the vegetation and cleared the trails.  Trails are dry and fairly hard packed now.  LOTS of birds out especially Cardinals and Woodpeckers.  Not much else going on but it was a good hike nonetheless.

Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at River Bend Ghost Camp.  CAUTION - dry toilets are old and rarely used, be careful if you have to sit on one!!

Dry trails
