Coppertone and I hiked to the falls here since we finished a guided walk through the meadows right at the trailhead. The viewing area can get crowded but for today there was enough room for folks to get a view without getting in each other's way too much. We knew the water flow this time of year would not be too large and it certainly wasn't, but worth the short hike nevertheless.
A large number of what appeared to be Russians were quite preoccupied with taking photos with their bottles or electronic devices in the frame. We never quite figured them out.
High up on the edge of the cliffs there is a spire set apart from the rest of the rock face. We noticed three lines connecting the spire to the main ridge and a couple of people were in the process of returning from the spire via rope assist.
