Leg 1 -  Burkett park > burkett Trail > Potts Creek > Playground > Bell's Point > Playground > Flintstone > 5 Points Junction    3.7 miles

Leg 2 -  5 Points Junction > Turkey Creek > Potts Creek (W) > West Potts Creek > Roller Coaster > WS to LL Connector > Burkett Park   4.2 miles

Temp started at 70, ended at 78.  Overcast then mostly cloudy.  Light breeze.

Nice hike along dry to slightly damp trails.  Flowers still abundant as are the cactus blossoms.  Saw some Bee Bush flowers for the first time this year.  A family of javalinas crossed the road as I drove in, cottontail and Jack rabbits were spotted and later a solitary male Painted Bunting.

A skunk was stuck under a cattle guard at the entrance to West Potts Creek - rangers were on their way to rescue him when I departed.
