North Shore - Bell's Trailhead to Cougar Overlook Loop

Sow and six piglets
I've spotted feral hogs at a distance - today I saw a solitary boar on the trail relatively close and then about a mile further down the trail, I spotted a sow with six piglets. Cute but destructive.

Temp started at 44, ended at 65.  Partly cloudy very light wind.

A good hike to end the year!  I saw about a dozen deer, numerous birds and feral hogs.  First I saw a boar and about a mile later, a sow with six piglets.  I know they are destructive but the piglets were just bouncing around mom.  Very cute!  Otherwise, the trails were good, the prescribed burning had not touched this part of the park.
