Comments:

The 2020 fires devastated the area, particularly around the trailhead.  On Google Maps there is dense tree cover than has been replaced with open skies overlooking a jumble of burned, felled trees.  It almost looks like a war zone.

Initially, it was tough to figure out where we needed to go since our initial path just ended in jumble of logs.  It turns out a path to the right of the bathroom is the right way to get to the falls in the most direct manner.  After departing the trailhead area things do look a bit better as more, but not all, foliage was able to survive the fire.

It's a short quarter mile hike to the overlook for the falls.  Though, we were technically within the timeframe when salmon might be seen heading up river to spawn we could not spot any on this day.  With the Sun beating down we did not loiter too much before heading back to our car.
