Wildflowers galore!

Creek Crossing
The trails on the eastern side of the park are shaded. There's even a nice creek crossing.

Comments: I was not sure what to expect on this trip. What I saw was an incredible number of wildflowers in the open fields in the western end of the park, with lots of butterflies flitting about. Very nice. The eastern trails are mostly shaded and include the Sauer-Beckmann Farm, a working farm that makes its own food from the animals and garden there. Most of the trails are crushed stone and easy on the legs with only one creek crossing in the eastern trail slightly uneven.
