Nice hike, but do it in the morning!

Comments: Unless you like to see what people look like when they sweat, this trail isnt for you. The Lighthouse is an awesome sight to see, but there is very little seclusion, especially on the weekends. Ive been during the week as well as the weekend during the summer and have always seen more than twenty people. It is near impossible to take dogs unless they are very well mannered as cyclists and horses are more prevalent than foot hikers. Nonetheless, the views are awesome and the trail is pretty easy (except for that last bit). Just remember that once you get to the lighthouse to walk around a little bit-- the views from the rim of the bluff are better than that of the lighthouse itself.
