Comments: Recent construction activity with a gas pipeline and quarry on the edge of the park have caused the Fossil Ridge trail to be exposed on the park boundary side. This has resulted in a lot of noise from the activity in the quarry. Good hike to bring your walking stick - lots of up and down with many rocky trails. Did not see many people - however constant noise can be intrusive. Overall a great hike.
