This trail is very enjoyable. The majority of the trail is not very difficult. Being a landmark that is featured in many magazines, this trail attracts more attention than any in the park. We have lived within 40 miles of this all my life and hadn't made this trail until a couple of years ago. Since then we hike it two - three times a year. The last quarter mile is more difficult but the view is worth the climb. If you only have time for one trail in the canyon, this is the one to take.
