One word: erosion

Comments: We hiked most of the trail at the Johnson Branch. Normally this might have been a fairly easy hike, but the trail was really badly eroded in some spots. It was very hard to walk on it--I can't even imagine trying to ride a bike on this trail! For the most part we were alone, but we were passed by quite a few mountain bikers. Plus, we ran into Parks & Wildlife staff on golf carts, and listening to those things coming towards you on the trail really kills the solitude. No views of the lake once you get past the campgrounds. Probably won't go back.
