I thought the trail was perfect, difficult to follow and required quite a bit of back tracking. Due to this I believe most would not return. That is exactly why I am going again. The trees are in poor shape because of the lack of moisture. There was a lot of cows towards the campground. I heard a group of coyotes during the evening. The campground is well maintained and has a nice toilet. There needs to be peat moss available to compost. There is also a nice smoker grill.
