My wife and I hiked the Fruita Paleo Trail Loop as well as the adjacent Skinner Cabin Trail. The Loop has many educational signs of various topics relevant to the area and the other trail runs to and just beyond the historic Skinner Cabin.

Dinosaur Hill is another historic sites where dinosaur bones were found and excavated in the early 1990s. The trail is a loop that is easy to follow and has a lot of informative signs along the way.
