A Fort Worth area International Mountain Bicycling Association group had to cancel trail maintenance activities because their parent group could not come to terms for insurance. Good grief!

Stuff like this should make you even more appreciative of the efforts of local groups to maintain our trails. The local riding group has to dish out hundreds of dollars a year (and more if they went it alone) just for insurance. And then on top of that they probably cover some expenses that eventually do directly benefit the trails. Lots of work and money for which we should all be grateful.

I agree. Where possible, we shouldn't just use the trails, but volunteer to maintain them or support those that can/do. At a minimum, please leave no trace behind to cut down on unnecessary work and environmental impact.
Happy Trails!
