I went back to Cy-Champ Park mainly to take photos and make a track file with my GPS.  The southern half of this park takes you through a wooded area and it is very nice.

Cy-Champ Park is a long narrow park that has a linear, dirt trail with a lollipop loop on each end, much like a Q-tip.  In the center of the park is the Fallen Warriors Memorial, dedicated to all of the Texas soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the Middle East.

The northern half of the trail is out in the open, whereas the southern half of the trail winds through some trees.  It is very scenic.  There is also a small child's playground at the southern end of the park, near Hargrave Road.  You also park in the lot at Hargrave Road.

I did not have my camera or GPS with me on this particular hike, but it is close to where I live so I will go back and take photos and save a track file the next time I go.
