My wife and I decided to start the "5 Peak Challenge" which involves summiting 5 peaks in the Mission Trails Regional Park. This was the first peak we did. It was short, but fairly steep (rises 900 ft in a mile). The trail is fairly well maintained, but using trekking poles is helpful in certain spots. The view from the top is very nice, especially on a clear day.
