Nice Community Park

Herman Brown Park is a large community park with a playground, picnic areas, sporting fields, and a concrete trail that runs around the park.  I only visited the section on the northwest side of Hwy 90 and Mercury Road.  I believe the rest of the park is on the southeast side of Hwy 90.  I wasn't aware there were multiple sections when I visited, so I may have to go back when I'm in the area.

Since the park sits off Hwy 90, the section of trail that runs along it does not provide a lot of solitude.  Still, it would be a nice park to spend the day at with family and friends.
