Comments:

This log covers the trails on the east side of Lake Bryan.  The trails consist of a wide service road that goes along the embankment of the lake and numerous hike/bike trails that branch off of this service road and run through the woods and along the lake.

It is difficult to find a good map of these trails on the internet.  I asked for a trail map when I pulled up to the entrance station and the attendant told me she didn't have any.  So, I ended up just walking to see where the trails went.

I got a late start, so I was running out of daylight when I finished the trails on the east side of the lake.  There is another service road that runs along the embankment of the lake on the west side, but I don't know the distance.  I don't believe it has as many hike/bike trails branching off of it as the east gate loop.

The lake, itself, is very scenic and very popular for boaters, water skiers, and fishermen.  There is also an Icehouse that is open Thurs-Sun that offers food, beer, and live entertainment.
