Comments:

The Pueblo Alto Loop Trail is a nice hike that takes you from the canyon floor up to the top of the rock cliffs and out to the ruins.  The trail is well-marked and easy to follow, but there are some narrow rock passages you have to slip through on the way up/down the cliffs.  This adds more adventure to the hike.

On my particular hike, the weather started to deteriorate on the second half of my hike and it started raining and lightning.  Interestingly, I was able to find shelter in this narrow rock passage and avoid most of the rain by hiding under a rock overhang, but the runoff from the rainwater did flow down through the floor of the rock passage making it a little treacherous and slippery.  Thoughts of a flash flood crossed my mind as the volume of water picked up, but fortunately the rain quickly subsided and I was able to descend and complete my hike.
