The Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge has a few, nicely maintained hiking trails that take you around the refuge. Nothing spectacular, but a nice chance to get away and get some exercise while looking for wildlife. Once you get into the hills, you get some nice overlooks of the desert floor below.
