My wife and I hiked out to Chicano Park and passed through several parks along the way, including Embarcadero Marina Park (North and South), Ruocco Park, USS San Diego Memorial, and Tuna Harbor Park. Chicano park is famous for it's Mexican-American murals painted on the concrete bridge supports, tunnel walls, etc. Caution: This is NOT a safe part of town, so exercise caution. If you like urban art, graffiti and the like, you'll like Chicano Park.
