I decided to explore some more trails around Del Norte. I started off by doing the Pronghorn Loop, but also went on to hike in and around the Lookout Mountain area since I was feeling strong. Pronghorn Mountain was a scenic loop through hills filled with pinon pines and rocks. In the Lookout Mountain area, I hiked the School Trail scenic loop, the loop around lookout Mountain, as well as summiting Lookout Mountain. The 360 degree views from the top of Lookout Mountain were very beautiful.
