I was expecting a longer hike for going thru the entire park, but it was nice that it parallels the lake on and off but not the whole time. We took the outer loop hoping for a slow grade up the "hill". Instead we ended up with a pretty steep climb for East Texas that follows the outer boundary of the park.

This is one of recurring trails. It's a nice walk around the lake but there is way too many people to get the feeling of being lost that I love so much.

Another of my recurring trails. I've made it thru Loop A and B so far. This trail is shared with cyclists. As many times as I've run into them I've never has any issues. Full of several switchbacks, but fun for a weeknight or full Saturday hike.
